The MBA (Focused on Oil & Gas Sector) programme offered by
the School
of Petroleum Management is designed as a career-oriented
program aimed at the Oil & Gas sector. The programme is designed
to facilitate students in understanding, developing, integrating
and applying both core and specialized areas of management and their
concepts and practices focused at the Oil & gas sector.
The programme structure, curriculum design, education methodology,
examination and grading provides students a deeper insight in developing
skills and enhancing the knowledge base.
The students are given extensive training in the areas of specialisation
through electives, thereby providing wide array of career opportunities
in the sector.
School of
Petroleum Management strives to ensure that the MBA
graduates receive suitable placements. In this context, by the virtue
of its lineage the School is uniquely placed to leverage on the
industry network developed on its own and the GSPC group.
In this direction, a placement cell engages in constant interaction
with the industry by way of seminars, summer internships, research
projects, and on-campus & off-campus initiatives.
School of
Petroleum Management and its promoters have linkages
with renowned Indian and International companies in the Oil &
Gas Sector. All attempts are made to provide summer & final
placements to the students at the School. The profiles of the students
seeking placement assistance are made available to the prospective
employers. Also Personality development workshops and training on
interviews are imparted as a part of the placement program.

exercise is a joint effort between the School and the students.
