Q.1. How is the 2 year MBA (Energy & Infrastructure) structured in terms of compulsory & elective courses?
Answer:
The flagship two-year full time residential programme leading to Master in Business Administration (MBA) is delivered in quarter (trimester) system over the two years, with three quarters of study in each of the two years and a summer internship with industry at the end of the first year of study. The programme is focused on energy & infrastructure sector with emphasis on Oil &Gas segment.

The curriculum is designed such that those who want to focus their study on energy sector or infrastructure sector can do so, and others can simply acquire competencies in the chosen functional area of management, like finance, marketing, operations, human resource management etc. Those who study a sector can also take concentration in functional areas of management. While the first year courses are generic in nature; the second year courses (most of which are elective courses) have been specially designed to cater to the energy & infrastructure sector with emphasis on Oil &Gas domain. The courses offered are presented herewith.

To facilitate more choices, the courses are divided into four categories, namely (a) Programme Core, (b) Track Core, (c) Track Electives and (d) Free Elective.
