School of Management, Pandit Deendayal Energy University presents PRATIBIMB, the most awaited awe-inspiring Annual Fest providing an unparallel platform to emblazon a future leader’s diverse aptitudes in the pool of management confronts, athletics, craftsmanship and convivial with a quirky twist.
PRATIBIMB is a mixture of educational, cultural and sports events where participants can showcase their talents on the platform provided by the core committee of School of Management.
The 3 day majestic event was held from 27th-29th January’23. It consisted events like:-
CATALYST (The Management Quest)
A platform to showcase the management savoir-faire amongst the strivers. A nurturing ground of business and management events concentrating all major domains i.e. Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, HR and Operations. It is not only limited up to enhancing future potential from leading B-Schools but also cherishes the stage with the adorable presence of adroit leaders in the key industry and professional sectors from all over the India. The various events in CATALYST were – Charcha, Kalkis of Gen-Z, Fintank and Sociopreneur.
REPRISE (The Cultural Fest)
A spectacular aesthetic opportunity which endeavorsto bring forth the inner flair and provides a platform to exhibit finesse in front of audience. From tango to tones to canvas to theatricals, it is for all the virtuosos out there who are receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web. The various events in REPRISE were Managers Got Talent, Squid Game, Treasure Hunt, Flaunt your creativity and Flip it till you make it.
ENERGY CUP (The Sports Extravaganza)
A mega sports event featuring fierce competition in different sports viz cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, etc. encouraging a participation full of hustle and bustle of budding managers from leading B-Schools as well as corporates across the length and breadth of the country. Champions are made from something they have deep within them i.e; a desire, a dream, a vision. Energy cup fosters the spirit of commitment to excellence, intelligent planning and focused effort to reach the pinnacle of each sport.
ZEPHYR (The Reunion)
The home coming festival of School of Management, formerly known as School of Petroleum Management, Zephyr is the annual alumni meet. All the alumni are cordially invited to take a walk down the corridors of nostalgia at their own alma mater, rejuvenate in the carefree golden memoirs, embrace their buddies and inspire the new SoMites who are taking their legacy forward. The most vital aspect being the revival of our beloved alumni’s commitment towards SoM,PDPU celebrated with ecstasy.
All the four events were spread across the three days of Pratibimb managed by Core Committee, the various events were managed by different committees like- The CATAYST was managed by Core Committee, REPRISE was managed by Cultural committee, Energy Cup was managed by Sports Committee and ZEPHYR was managed by the Alumni Relations Committee. In brief the fest proved to be a confluence of knowledge and entertainment , witnessed by enthusiastic participants from as many as …. B-schools and … corporates.
BATL Committee organizes One day workshop on “Data Analysis using IBM SPSS”

BATL (Business Analytics Teaching Lab) Committee organized one day workshop on Data Analysis using IBM SPSS for first year students on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 10:30 to 4:30 (Four sessions of 75 minutes each).
Dr. Kishor Bhanusali, Director – Research Program, Karnavati University conducted interactive sessions on SPSS for first year students, teaching them how to use SPSS for statistical data analysis. He encouraged students to ask questions and actively participate in the workshop, and guided students as they practiced using SPSS themselves.
94 students of MBA Batch 2022-24 participated in the workshop.
Dr. Tanushri Banerjee conveyed the workshop and Dr. Vipul Patel coordinated the same.
On 19th February 2023, Cultural Committee along with Core Committee of SoM, held a farewell event for PGP Batch 2023 to celebrate their contributions to SoM, PDEU and to wish them well in their future endeavours. The event was held in SoM Lawn and was attended by PGP Batch 2023 and 2024 of SoM, Faculties, and Director Sir. The atmosphere was warm and festive, with decorations and refreshments provided.
The event began with a speech from the director, who wished the batch well. This was followed by a speech from the faculties, who appreciated the students' contributions to SoM. Later, it was followed by the student’s speech, in which they expressed their gratitude for the opportunities and advised Batch 2024.
Throughout the event, attendees had the opportunity to mingle and catch up with the Class of 2023 by sharing memories and well-wishes. There was also a slideshow presentation featuring photos and highlights from the student’s time in the hostel and on the college campus.
After that, there was a DJ, and everyone rocked and rolled around the lawn, and later, as the theme was prom night, they rolled with their partner. There was a prom king and queen declaration. The batch created their last memories with batch mates and the college campus, sang songs, and consoled each other with tears in their eyes because of leaving the campus.
Overall, the farewell event was a fitting tribute to the departing class of 2023 and a chance for everyone to come together for the last time. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours and look forward to staying in touch.
